KBS Reception

The KBS 2025 Scotland Monday Night Opening Reception was held in the Glasgow City Chambers on George Square. Kate and I took an Uber there and back; it's a quick drive of about 15-20 minutes.

George Square is a green space with a tall monument, statuary and more. I was looking forward to seeing it. Unfortunately the square was closed for renovations with barriers all around. The evening was a bit cool so off we went to enter the City Hall.

The City Hall is an old neo-classic architecture, pillars out front, greying from time, with lots of marble and murals inside. It's an impressive building that celebrates the hay-days of Glasgow.
